Information we collect
The Lavender Scare (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). The application itself does not collect any data. No sign-in is required. There are no analytics tools, advertising networks or third-party SDKs in the app collecting and/or sharing user data.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the third-party mobile store from which you install the Application (i.e. Google Play Store for Android or the App Store for iOS) which may also collect and use data about you. However, this is no different than any other app you download through said mobile stores. We are just a do-it-yourself band without a record label. There’s no servers we own, and we have no interest in collecting anyone’s data.
The app’s purpose is to provide a fun, immersive experience for streaming and downloading an mp3 of our song “Better Looking Boy”. While the application may appear as a dating app, it is purely satirical. None of the profiles are actual users. Information in profiles is arbitrary and contains lyrics from the song. The messages in the chat feature are pre-populated and make zero calls to a server. Sending a private message to a profile in chat also makes zero network calls and is stored nowhere. It’s merely satire.
